We are always seeking volunteers for various positions. At the moment we have an urgent need for telephone list callers and a new treasurer. We also need people to attend festivals, fairs, and parades to promote the group. We are also in need of speakers for each of our meetings, to talk about any topic related to sleep. Anyone who wishes to offer an hour or two each month can get in touch with us.
Federal Government Introduces Grants for Registered Disability Savings Plans
The Canadian federal government has created an RDSP Registered Disability Savings Plan, with grants for people who open them. These plans and grants will not affect Ontario Disability pensions. For more information on how to apply, see http://www.rdsp.com
The SWDA receives no funding and operates solely on donations. If you would like to make a donation to our group, you can do so via PayPal, or contact us to donate by cash or cheque.
